From the main menu press left when "Play" is highlighted. 
Lain's Badge will light up. Press Select. For DVD-ROM 
players, click on Lain's badge (just below 'her' left 
shoulder). I must stress this more than before: DON'T 
BLINK!  It's faster and shorter than before, and there 
is no pause.
